Our holiday park

Our fine and exclusive vacation park is located as a small peninsula in Onderdijk, directly on a large lake, the Groote Vliet. Vislust vacation park is thus completely surrounded by water and you can reach it on foot or by car via a small bridge. Whether for fishing, boating, swimming, kite surfing, sunbathing or for endless walks along the sea. The environment is simply made for it. Between the only 70 houses on the island there is a very nice and respectful coexistence. You can expect pure relaxation and tranquillity in a beautiful natural setting directly on the Ijsselmeer.

The living space

On the island in the “Auszeit” house you can escape from everyday life! Treat yourself to some time out in a quiet location and relaxed atmosphere.

The house – was built in 2015 as a new construction on a waterfront property with its own jetty. The equipment is modern and the building services are up to date. The property is completely fenced and not visible from the neighborhood.

In the house – approx. 64 m² are optimally distributed over a spacious living/dining room with open kitchen, 2 bedrooms and the shower room.

The kitchen

The modern kitchenette with integrated kitchen block is equipped with a fridge with freezer compartment, electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, Senseo pod coffee machine, filter coffee machine, toaster, kettle as well as crockery, glasses and cutlery. All important and useful kitchen utensils are of course also available.

A large dining table with six chairs invites you to enjoy meals together.

The bathroom

The bathroom has a wellness shower, a washbasin, an illuminated mirror cabinet, a toilet, a towel dryer and a hairdryer.

The beds

Bedroom 1 – double bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m), spacious sliding-door wardrobe and two bedside cabinets

Bedroom 2 – Two single beds (each 0.90 m x 2.00 m), separated by a bedside chest of drawers with reading lamp, closet

Garden and terrace

Access for guests

A communal laundry room with washing machines and dryers is available for your laundry. Wash tokens can be purchased from the campsite management. The office hours are daily between 10:00 and 18:00.

For younger guests, there is a small playground on the vacation island that provides entertainment and fun.

The neighborhood

All vacation homes are located on the vacation island Vislust in Onderdijk. The surrounding area, with its very good transport links, offers the mix of nature, beach, sea, leisure activities, quiet at night, short distances to museums and sights. Also for your children there is a lot to experience in the surroundings. The Ijsselmeer is only knee deep near the beach, perfect for splashing around for the little ones. A large adventure playground is within 5 min walking distance or an indoor swimming pool is within 5 min driving distance. So absolutely nothing stands in the way of the perfect vacation for the whole family.

In only 5 minutes walk from the dike, you can enjoy the beautiful view over the Ijsselmeer. By the way, your pet is very welcome here. You can also reach the dog beach in a few minutes walk.

The Ijsselmeer with various bathing beaches, a beach club, as well as shopping and leisure facilities, (boats and bicycle rental) are also within walking distance. Whether to kite surf, swim, fish, sail, bike, hike or just lay in the sun – golf & mini golf opportunities, everything is possible here.

You would much rather go shopping, freshly baked fish, island hopping, visit a typical Dutch weekly market or a museum…?

Here, the historic port cities of Hoorn (18 km), Enkhuizen (14 km) or Medemblik (3 km) are certainly worth a visit.

To Amsterdam it is only about 60 km, perfect to reach via Hoorn in the Park & Ride with public transport.

The island of Texel can be reached by car and ferry in about an hour, as well as the beautiful North Sea beaches on the other side of the coast.

Environmental fee: 3,50€/per person over 18 years in cash, on site.

The cozy vacation resort Vislust is located in West Frisia in the province of North Holland on a small island in the middle of the lake “Groote Vliet” in the immediate vicinity of the port city Medemblik on the Ijsselmeer.

Here you will find an idyllic, family atmosphere. Whether for families, vacations with dog or if you want to fish in peace and quiet – Vislust is an ideal location to spend a relaxing vacation on the vacation island, to practice water sports or to discover the typical West Frisian environment.
