The café is a meeting place for many villagers. Of course there are various celebrations organised by us and by the guests e.g. beer tastings, high wine/beer packages, high tea, Spanish week, asparagus week etc., pub quiz, King’s Night with live music and a top 2000 quiz! The room is also easy to combine with the other rooms. Think a leisurely pre-dinner drink, wine and beer, lunch, a cosy pool tournament or an informal gathering after/before a meeting etc.
On weekdays we host various clubs and societies. On Monday night, the men of the DIOK billiards club sit around the trunk table. On Tuesday evenings the men of the Mannenclub De Roos can be found in the café. On Wednesday evenings the ladies of the billiard club GIA meet. On Thursday evenings, the men of the BKW billiards club are active and the pop choir sings and rehearses, which leads to a cosy after-dinner in the café every Thursday!
We organize a WEEKEND STARTER every third Friday of the month. Sit down after work for this beer/wine special with a nice drink tray! There will be live music for each weekend starter. The café is also open on Fridays and Saturdays for parties such as a birthday, reception, family reunion, wedding, exam party and more. In the months of June, July and August the café is also available on other days.
