Our holiday park

Our fine and exclusive vacation park is located as a small peninsula in Onderdijk, directly on a large lake, the Groote Vliet. Vislust vacation park is thus completely surrounded by water and you can reach it on foot or by car via a small bridge. Whether for fishing, boating, swimming, kite surfing, sunbathing or for endless walks along the sea. The environment is simply made for it. Between the only 70 houses on the island there is a very nice and respectful coexistence. You can expect pure relaxation and tranquility in a beautiful nature, directly on the Ijsselmeer.

The living space

Imagine: sitting on the terrace in the morning with a cup of coffee, the first rays of sunshine dancing across the water, the fishing rod ready – and the day can begin in peace. In the evening, enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine while the water reflects in golden hues. This is exactly what vacation home Balu offers you – a retreat full of comfort, nature and security.

The heart of the house is the cozy living-dining room:

A comfortable couch and an armchair invite you to relax.
Enjoy your favorite films and series on the Smart TV with German channels.
The dining area with table and 4 chairs is the perfect place for communal meals or sociable games evenings.
And the highlight: you have a direct view of the water from the living room – so you can enjoy nature at any time of day, whether you’re having breakfast or relaxing in the evening.

The kitchen

The kitchen is compact but fully equipped:

Gas stove and fridge with freezer compartment
Mini oven for small dishes
Kettle and pad coffee machine for quick enjoyment
Sufficient crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils

Here you can cook to your heart’s content and spoil your family or friends.

The bathroom

The bathroom has a shower, WC and washbasin. A mirror with indirect lighting creates a pleasant atmosphere – whether you’re freshening up in the morning or after a long day by the water in the evening.

The beds

A cozy double bed (140×200) in cabin style ensures restful nights and gives the room a maritime feel-good atmosphere. The room is complemented by a satellite TV with German channels, a closet and a chest of drawers – cozy, practical and stylish at the same time.
Bedroom 2: Ideal for children or friends – equipped with a bunk bed (140×200 below, 90×200 above) and two further single beds (90×190 and 70×170). There is also storage space here in the form of a wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Both bedrooms can be locked so that everyone can enjoy their own private retreat.

Garden and terrace

Office hours: daily between 10:00 and 18:00!

Vacation home Balu is the perfect place for families, friends or couples who want to combine nature, relaxation and cozy living – right on the water, with plenty of space and sunlight.

The neighborhood

All vacation homes are located on the vacation island Vislust in Onderdijk. The surrounding area, with its very good transport links, offers the mix of nature, beach, sea, leisure activities, quiet at night, short distances to museums and sights. Also for your children there is a lot to experience in the surroundings. The Ijsselmeer is only knee deep near the beach, perfect for splashing around for the little ones. A large adventure playground is within 5 min walking distance or an indoor swimming pool is within 5 min driving distance. So absolutely nothing stands in the way of the perfect vacation for the whole family.

In only 5 minutes walk from the dike, you can enjoy the beautiful view over the Ijsselmeer. By the way, your pet is very welcome here. You can also reach the dog beach in a few minutes walk.

The Ijsselmeer with various bathing beaches, a beach club, as well as shopping and leisure facilities, (boats and bicycle rental) are also within walking distance. Whether to kite surf, swim, fish, sail, bike, hike or just lay in the sun – golf & mini golf opportunities, everything is possible here.

You would much rather go shopping, freshly baked fish, island hopping, visit a typical Dutch weekly market or a museum…?

Here, the historic port cities of Hoorn (18 km), Enkhuizen (14 km) or Medemblik (3 km) are certainly worth a visit.

To Amsterdam it is only about 60 km, perfect to reach via Hoorn in the Park & Ride with public transport.

The island of Texel can be reached by car and ferry in about an hour, as well as the beautiful North Sea beaches on the other side of the coast.

Costs depending on the season
Mid-season: from 01.04. until 31.05. – 135€/per day
High season: from 01.06. until 31.08. – 145€/per day
Low season: from 01.09 to 21.12 – 100€/per day (from 01.11 to 21.12 gas – 10€/day)
Christmas/New Year’s Eve: from 21.12. to 21.12. until 07.01. – 175€/per day(gas-10€/day)
Low season: from 07.01. until 31.03. – 100€/per day (gas-10€/day)
Final cleaning: 60€ in cash, on site.
Environmental fee: 3,50€/per person from 18 years in cash, on site.

Deposit
150€ in cash, on site. Will be refunded upon departure.

If you cancel your trip, the following costs will be charged:
4 weeks before departure 20% of the total costs
3 weeks before departure 30% of the total costs

The cozy vacation resort Vislust is located in West Frisia in the province of North Holland on a small island in the middle of the lake “Groote Vliet” in the immediate vicinity of the port city Medemblik on the Ijsselmeer.
